So what sort of justice would an AI judge deliver? Yes, China has revealed an AI ‘judge’! It will assist in legal litigation and will help human judges with their workload. I say ‘it’ but maybe ‘its’ a ‘she’ as she has been given a female voice and feminine likeness.
Meanwhile in Estonia……they are developing an AI judge which will make the final ruling in a case! However, the judgement of the AI entity will be subject to scrutiny by human judges if necessary.
I wonder what decision the Estonian AI judge would make if presented with an AI autonomous vehicle accused of causing death by dangerous driving?
